Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) in Yangon was built in 1952 to commemorate the Sixth Buddha Synod. If you're visiting, check out its centrepiece - the 118ft high hollow paya which has five gateways, each guarded by an image of Buddha.
